For buyers

Communication is the key.

The most important part of working with us is ongoing communication and transparency. Wherever possible, our first contact is a phone consultation — so we can understand what you’re looking for, where, how many chairs, your budget, and much more.

Registered buyers are matched by location, size, income and ambition — and we have discreet, off-market conversations with genuine, motivated buyers before listings ever go public.

How it works

The key to buying — and our point of difference.

Public listings show a region and a set of traits — never a name. Here is what happens behind that screen, and how you get through it.

01

Register

First and foremost, we need your full name and contact details, including a mobile or best number. We always act with discretion — but without these we can’t work together.

02

Buyer preferences

We like to have a proper conversation and understand exactly what you’re looking for. Your preferences and requirements are documented and key-worded, so we can match you to any current or upcoming practice.

03

Clear and simple process

The Information Memorandum holds the practice’s name, location and full financials. To receive any details, every buyer signs a non-disclosure agreement — one phone call, then one signature releases it to you. That confidentiality is never compromised.

04

Viewings and beyond

Most Information Memorandums give the full picture — enough for an experienced buyer to decide how interesting a practice is. The next step is a viewing, where more specific questions can be raised. Unless location or logistics prevent it, we ask every buyer to inspect the practice and show genuine commitment.

After a viewing we ask for feedback within an agreed timeframe, and when the time is right we move towards an offer or a heads of agreement. Offers are discussed at length, and we give every buyer the best possible chance to purchase. The vendor’s feedback matters as much as the buyer’s, and we keep all parties up to date promptly and efficiently.

From offer to settlement

Due diligence, finance and conditions.

01

Offer & heads of agreement

Your offer goes to the vendor in writing, and we set out a heads of agreement so the terms are clear and agreed before the lawyers begin. We aim to reduce the time and money spent on lawyers by working with proven dental-practice-sales solicitors.

02

Finance

With over 15 years’ experience helping buyers purchase, we’ve built excellent relationships with banks and finance brokers — and we support the documentation and process so decisions come back quickly, with positive outcomes.

03

Due diligence

We keep due diligence fair and reasonable — helping you obtain all the information you need and keeping the flow of documents moving towards each deadline. We advise on what to ask for, and how long to give the vendor.

04

Settlement

Throughout the post-contract period we work with all parties to make the sale unconditional and set an agreed settlement date. We can also help with post-sale agreements or SFAs where a vendor is staying on to work in the practice.

Who registers

Buyers of every size.

01

First-practice buyers

Associates ready to step into ownership. We'll tell you honestly what a practice is worth, what it demands, and whether it fits — the numbers don't flatter anyone.

02

Owners adding a practice

A second room, a satellite, a succession play. Matched against your existing geography and capacity, not just your budget.

03

Small groups

Building a group on defensible numbers. Banded financials pre-NDA, full analysis under it, and a process your acquisitions lead will recognise.

“The IM answered questions I didn't yet know to ask. We settled twelve weeks after I signed the NDA.”
